Marmion Dental Care is proudly family owned and operated, by locally grown dentists who genuinely care about the dental health of our patients. It’s our goal is to provide you with a better dental experience in all aspects of your dental health. We pride ourselves on providing a friendly and professional service, always seeking to ensure we provide our patients with a comfortable and relaxing dental experience.

Extended Practice Hours

We know how busy our patients are and sometimes its a struggle to fit all of your necessary appointments around your work schedule, so we happily offer the flexibility of extended hours. We have evening appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as Saturday morning appointments available for our patients comfort and convenience.

Reduced Waiting Times

We’ve worked hard to streamline our processes to reduce the time you spend waiting for your appointment. Our friendly front office coordinator will assist you in allowing the appropriate amount of time for your appointment at the time of booking. Any extra information that you can provide regarding the nature of your concern, for example level of discomfort, expectations from appointment - will assist us to make a correct booking allocation for you.

Easy Access and Ample Parking

Located in the Marmion Village Shopping Centre on Sheppard Way, just north of the Perth City, there is an abundance of free parking right outside our practice. Wheelchair access is also available. If you need an alternative option, Marmion is also easily accessible by train and bus.

Emergency Appointments

Dental emergencies are unplanned and often require immediate, same day assistance. Tooth ache, swelling, painful teeth, sensitivity and accidents and trauma often need to be attended to urgently. Our friendly staff will happily allocate a same-day appointment in the case of an emergency. For after hours assistance please call 0451883569.

Dental Technology

At Marmion Dental Care, we use innovative and progressive technology to ensure our patients are provided with the most up to date equipment available. We even have our own specialised computerised x-ray machine and OPG equipment on site, this makes dental appointments even easier as there is no extra trips to the Radiologists!

Personal Health Information

Our practice is fully computerised and all personal dental health information, including treatment notes, photographs and dental x-rays and images recorded by your Dentist or Hygienist is kept strictly confidential and secured.

Digital X-rays

Dental X-rays are often necessary when assessing your oral health care. These images provide a small picture of the teeth and bones that often the dentist can not see with the naked eye. Most dentists recommend having these small bite wing X-rays (small intra-oral x-rays of your back teeth) taken every two years during your oral health examination to prevent any decay progressing unchecked. At Marmion Dental Care, digital X-rays means that we can have your x-ray image appear on the computer screen within 5 seconds of exposure. Not only does this save time, but it also dramatically reduces the amount of radiation you mouth is exposed to when compared to a manually developed x-ray film. It is also possible to zoom in and enlarge the digital image which makes diagnosis far easier as well as being able to give our patients a much better understanding of their oral health conditions.

Digital OPG

Marmion Dental Care now offers digital OPG, a panoramic or wide view X-ray of the lower face which displays all the teeth on the upper and lower jaw on a single digital film. The OPG provides an image which shows the number, position and growth of all the teeth including those that have not yet surfaced or erupted. The OPG is different to the small close up (intra-oral) X-rays dentists take of individual teeth. An OPG may also reveal problems with the jawbone and the jaw joints.

Cancellation Policy

Marmion Dental Care is committed to providing all of our patients with exceptional dental care. When a patient cancels an appointment, without sufficient notice, they often prevent another patient from being seen. Please be mindful that if you need to cancel your dental appointment with us, we required you to provide us with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. If prior notification is not given, a cancellation fee may be charged for the missed appointment. There will be an $80.00 fee incurred for short notice (less than 24 hours) of cancellations, or non-attendance of your dental appointment.

Digital Intra-Oral Camera

Intra-oral cameras are a valuable tool for patient education and case documentation. Patients may not always accept treatment but an intra-oral camera can allow patients to see what their dentist can see. A problem such as a broken tooth can be easier to spot and impossible to ignore when it is magnified on a computer monitor or TV screen. Shaped like a small wand, many intra-oral cameras are highly portable and can easily connect to a computer.

Appointment Reminders

On the day prior to your scheduled appointment, you will receive a courtesy telephone call, text or email reminder (which ever you prefer) confirming your dental appointment time. Please inform the front office coordinator at time of booking how you would prefer to receive your confirmation call.

Worker's Compensation & Motor Vehicle Consultations

Initial visits for Worker’s Compensation or Motor Vehicle Claims will require payment on the day of service. Once claims have been accepted, and we receive a claim number, accounts can be sent directly to the insurance company.

Billings & Fees

At Marmion Dental Care, we are understand that many people can be apprehensive about the costs and implications of their dental treatment. We pride ourselves on making sure all of our patients are informed, educated, and supported from the very beginning. As a preferred provider with most health funds, Our practice provides “instant claiming” – which means you can process your Health Fund Claims at the time of payment through the HICAPS machine. Please be aware that families need to check eligibility for the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule. Our friendly front office coordinator can assist with this if required. Please advise us prior to your appointment.
